You can obtain a certificate in this field easily with a little bit of training from a nursing school. You will have to undergo training and obtain experience in order to work in this field.

In order to become a dermatology nurse, you will have to complete four years of school to acquire a bachelor's degree of science or two years of school to acquire an associate's degree from a nursing program. You can either got to a university or community college in your area. Afterward, you will have to pass the National Council Licensure Exam, or NCLE. Once you pass it, you will receive a license to practice in dermatology nursing.

Before you decide to apply for a certificate program, you should know that you will need to complete 2,000 or more hours of experience over a two year period. You may be able to get this experience working as an administrator, staff nurse, researcher or teacher of dermatological nursing.
