The EMS Program Clinical Coordinator Assistant will work directly with the EMS Program Clinical Coordinator to manage students performing clinical rotations. A majority of the duties will be working with the Typhon clinical management system as well as assisting with paperwork reviews and audits, grading patient care reports, and other similar duties.
WORK PERFORMED
Perform paperwork evaluation and present completed paperwork to the Clinical Coordinator, Program Director and Medical Director (along with recommendations regarding disposition)
Review documents (patient care reports and narratives), evaluate, and grade documents
Track student attendance at each clinical site - and provide a report to Clinical Coordinator, Program Director and Medical Director
Provide periodic progress reports to student and Clinical Coordinator, Program Director and Medical Director and audit clinical database skills reports
Maintain student records
Assist with scheduling as needed
Assist with administrative functions as needed
Requirements:
A.A. Degree is preferred.
Two years full time practice experience as a Paramedic required.
Must be comfortable with using electronic technology (computers) and software (mainly Typhon and Excel spread sheets).
OTHER REQUIREMENTS
Must meet technical standards for the EMS-P Program.
Must be a licensed driver and provide own transportation.
