The Clinical Coordinator collaborates with faculty, college and agency staff to place students in clinical experiences and service learning opportunities and to evaluate learning experiences. The coordinator reviews student records to verify compliance with health requirements. The coordinator serves as liaison to clinical agencies to secure student placements, increase the number of clinical placements, track agency issues, requirements and learning opportunities. Helps with clinical agreements as necessary, and markets the health care programs. Assists with preceptor, student and adjunct faculty orientation and evaluation; and builds relationships with agency partners. Conducts and assists with data collection, summary of surveys, and systematic program evaluation.
Requirements:
Master's degree in nursing required
A minimum of three years of experience in the practice of nursing.
Nursing licensure with eligibility to practice in Maryland, as registered nurse
Recent clinical experience.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
Orientation to detail for maintenance of records .
Ability to multitask and manage time.
