Do you want to play a key role in bringing to market new solutions in the area of Supply Chain Management?
We are currently looking to hire industry specialists and leaders to help **MEMBERS ONLY**SIGN UP NOW***. customers be more efficient in working with their supply chain during their product development process. Working closely with the SCM Solution Strategy, Solution Management and Marketing teams, the Solution Validation and Enablement team is responsible for 1) ensuring that **MEMBERS ONLY**SIGN UP NOW***.’s new SCM solutions deliver the expected business benefits to customers and 2) enabling the **MEMBERS ONLY**SIGN UP NOW***. Sales, Technical Pre-Sales and Services to promote, sell and deliver these new solutions into the marketplace.
As a member of the SCM Solution Validation & Enablement team, the Principal Solution Architect will be play a critical interface role between the customers selected for the introduction and validation of new SCM solutions, and the SCM Solution Management team.
Primary responsibilities will include:
• Working with the SCM segment leadership team to identify, selecting and engaging target customers for introduction of **MEMBERS ONLY**SIGN UP NOW***.’s new SCM solutions.
• Surveying customers to understand industry trends, processes, practices, challenges and opportunities for new **MEMBERS ONLY**SIGN UP NOW***. solutions in the domain of Supply Chain Management with a focus on preferred sources (parts, materials, suppliers) rationalization.
• Developing a **MEMBERS ONLY**SIGN UP NOW***. point of view on processes and best practices that **MEMBERS ONLY**SIGN UP NOW***.’s new solutions should enable.
• Supporting business development activities and initial engagements with targeted customers, including assisting in the development of customer specific SCM solution implementation roadmaps.
• Working with **MEMBERS ONLY**SIGN UP NOW***. Sales and Services organizations to establish projects with these “First of Kind” customers.
This includes scoping and setting internal and customer expectations related to these projects. For selected lighthouse customer projects:
• Leading solution design (process and application) and build activities
• Bringing Subject Matter expertise to infrastructure, data migration, validation and end-user adoption / training activities.
• Acting as liaison between of **MEMBERS ONLY**SIGN UP NOW***. Global Services team and the SCM Solution Management team and R&D
• Developing methods and best practices related to SCM solution implementation.
• Capturing lessons learned and customer metrics
• Documenting customer case studies
• Developing collaterals (value proposition, training,…) for enablement of **MEMBERS ONLY**SIGN UP NOW***. Sales & Pre-Sales and Services functions on new solutions
• Educating and Training Sales, Pre-Sales and Services resources
• Participating and representing SCM solution team in customer project steering committee meetings.
• Coordinating issues resolution with SCM segment resources.
• Managing project escalations.
• Capturing lessons-learned & case studies
• Occasionally, supporting and coordinating responses to RFI, RFP and participating in business development efforts.
Preferred Qualifications:
• 10 years of professional experience
• 7 years of Client Services experience (in either technical pre-sales, consulting services or technical support) in a software development organization
• 7 years of experience in one or several of the following domains: Product Development, Manufacturing, Supply Chain Management, Strategic Sourcing.
• Solid understanding of Product Development processes (Design, BOM / Configuration Management, Change Management, NPI, Supplier Collaboration, Component Management)
• Preferred practical knowledge and experience with Windchill PDMLink
• BS or MS degree in Engineering or Business
• Passion for helping customers solve complex problems through new software and/or solutions
• Proven 360- leadership skills and experience working in a matrix organization with multiple and fluid reporting relationships
• Ability to embrace and inspire a shared vision and promoting the value of a new solution.
• Outstanding communication skills, including ability to communicate a multiple levels (strategic vs tactical, operational or technical) internally and externally
• Highly self-motivated and able to work autonomously but knowing when to ask for help and escalate issues.
• Superior communication & time management skills
• Ability to travel internationally frequently (60% in US, China, Europe) and work in a cross-cultural environment
