Performs a variety of pre and post analytical clerical and specimen handling duties as assigned.
Performs patient phlebotomy and ECGs in clinics, outpatient and inpatient settings.
Performs testing and resulting on low to medium complexity instrumentation, cytopreparation techniques on specimens, cytologic and histologic staining and processes and cuts frozen tissue sections.
Performs specimen centrifugation and aliquoting, ensures proper specimen labeling, and prepares specimens for shipment.
