Current licensure as an RN in the State of South Carolina
Current certification as a BLS Healthcare Provider/ pediatric; ACLS Credentials
Graduate of an NLN accredited school of professional nursing.  Bachelor of Science in Nursing Preferred.
Minimum of three years recent nursing practice, with at least two years of expereience of expertise as a Permanent Charge Nurse or a nursing leadership position preferred. Physically and mentally capable to satisfy job requirements.  Expertise in IV therapy and blood/blood products administration with high level of proficiency.
Effective communication skills, both orally and written, with flexible interpersonal skills to facilitate the exchange of information within all levels of the organization. 
Critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision in a fast paced environment.
Involves general guidance and direction by Administration.  The employee will be expected to perform most job duties independently and in accordance sith established departmental and hospital policies and procedures. 
Ability to perform work that requires frequent standing, bending, reaching, squatting, kneeling, moving, lifting of patients and/or equipment up to 50 pounds.
