Client,\nAccount and Affiliate Origination and Management
An Account Manager is\nresponsible for selling GE Healthcare products and services in their\ndefined market. This role is responsible for new account development\nand/or expanding existing accounts within an established geographic\nterritory as well as maintaining customer relationships with the\naccounts in their established geographic territory. This role is\nprimarily responsible for private practice sector\naccounts.
Prospecting for new private\npractice sector customers and business in addition to growing and\nmaintaining the existing customer portfolio, and qualifying new leads\nto maintain identified business to support a balanced sales funnel for\nfuture sales Generating proposals, preparing sales quotations,\nplanning customer meetings, and demonstrating equipment capabilities\non assigned products in assigned territory Sales negotiation and deal\nclosure at the customer, interfacing with all key buying influencers\nsuch as direct users of the product, but also possibly department\nheads or CXO level personnel Expected to sell point of sale service\ncontracts, financing and drive margin though selling value and holding\nprice Develop and maintain a high level of product knowledge of GE\nand competitive products Achieve annual and quarterly achievement of\nmultiple order and revenue targets through accurate monthly and\nquarterly forecasting, by prioritizing selling time to generate sales\nvolume, achieve account penetration and complete territory coverage \nMaintaining satisfactory after-sale relationships and development of\nlong-term customer relationships coupled with the ability to identify\nand capitalize on opportunities that immediately satisfy customer\nneeds Develop account penetration strategies for key target and\ncompetitive accounts and communicating current market intelligence\nback to the business, along with field concerns, issues and\nrequirements Providing leadership in market analysis and\ndevelopment/execution of strategies and action plans to drive product\nsales
At least one of the following\ncore experiences: 2+ years of consultative sales experience including\nstrategic selling and negotiation in a complex sales environment\ninvolving multiple decision-makers/influencers, Graduate of a GE\nCommercial Leadership Program, 3+ years GEHC experience in customer\nfacing role(s), or 3+ years in progressively larger formal leadership\nroles working in a complex technical environment Proficiency in\ncomputer skills in Microsoft Office Suite products Willingness to\ntravel within your specified geographic region with occasional\novernight stays depending on geography and business needs as well as\nto sales meetings and tradeshows To the extent you are applying for\na position that requires you to operate a GE owned/leased, privately\nowned/leased or rental vehicle for company business, you must be\nwilling to submit to a check of your driving record Ability to\ncommunicate using local language
Bachelor's Degree Previous Healthcare high-end capital\nequipment sales experience or LifeSciences Knowledge of Healthcare\nInformation Systems, networking and IT Robust interpersonal skills,\nwith demonstrated ability to work independently as well as with a team\n Ability to energize, develop, and build rapport at all levels within\nan organization Demonstrated ability to analyze customer data and\ndevelop financially sound sales solutions 5+ years of demonstrated\nstrategic selling skills including customer presentations, price\nquoting, product demonstration, negotiation, closing and growing a\nsales territory Proven customer acumen and relationship building\nskills in a healthcare environment Experience interfacing with both\ninternal team members and external customers as a part of a\nsolution-based sales process Strong written and verbal communication\nand clear thinking skills with the ability to synthesize complex\nissues into simple messages Solid process orientation, demonstrated\nresource management and allocation experience, and the ability to\nperform multiple tasks simultaneously Knowledge of Healthcare or\nPharma industry and market place trends Specific clinical\napplication and/or product knowledge within assigned area
