The Clinical Unit Educator is responsible and accountable for assessing, planning, implementing and evaluating the educational activities for the nursing staff on nursing units/departments. The Clinical Unit Educator must be able to provide patient care on the unit when the need arises. Must be able to provide and understand the specific communication, developmental, treatment needs of patients, families and visitors ranging in age from early adult to late adult. Must have current SC Nursing License with a minimum of two (2) years nursing experience.
