Job Description
The Clinical Team Lead is responsible for the day-to-day clinical management of the RNs and non-nursing professionals in the designated area of responsibility. The Clinical Team Lead is responsible for facilitating the coordination of clinical services, meeting client needs, quality assurance, mentoring of assigned staff and training activities. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: -Demonstrates a thorough understanding of all policies and procedures in relation to the delivery of the product and articulates the same to staff.
-Coaches team members to improve individual and Delivery Center performance.
-Provides leadership for the team in support of company and client goals and objectives.
-Reviews monthly cases/calls based on product quality standards.
-Writes and delivers performance assessments and annual reviews as appropriate.
-Informs Operations leadership of all problems, concerns and/or recommendations as they arise among the staff members.
-Conducts staff meetings.
-Develops a working relationship that bolsters the growth and success of each individual.
-Works with staff to balance quality, productivity and customer service in case/call delivery.
-Assists in the development and implementation of Delivery Center Recognition Programs.
-Acts as the front line resource for Delivery Center personnel.
-Acts as a Clinical lead to assist with Client relations.
-Acts as a liaison with product development to enhance and implement services and products.
-Works with the product management team to develop, test and implement new software application builds for legacy products.
-Provides regular feedback to the Delivery Center Training department, Associate Directors/Director regarding the educational needs of the staff.
-Works with the Delivery Center leadership to stay within budget.
-All other duties as assigned.
Job Requirements
EDUCATION/EQUIVALENT EXPERIENCE: -A minimum of a Diploma in Nursing required.
-BSN degree preferred.
-A combination of education and experience may be substituted unless prohibited by licensure or certification KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES: -5 to 7 years nursing experience. A combination of education and experience may be substituted unless prohibited by licensure or certification.
-Product specific experience preferred.
-Prior Management experience preferred.
-Ability to lead in a changing work environment.
-Demonstrated clinical performance that meets or exceeds the performance standards for the product managing.
-Demonstrated problem solving skills; creatively works toward solutions.
-Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; ability to successfully lead a variety of employees in meeting strategic and tactical goals and objectives.
-Ability to manage multiple projects to successful and timely completion.
-Ability to give feedback.
-Ability to work comfortably with computer programs such as company proprietary clinical software. Word or Excel preferred. SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS: (Licenses, certifications, etc. required) -Active-RN License in good standing in the practicing state.
-Certification in product (CCM or equivalent) will be required based on time in position if managing a component of CM or MM service delivery.
