Director Behavioral Health - Registered Nurse','25558-5034','United States-Florida-Largo-Largo Medical Center - Indian Rocks','Full-time','!*!Grow your experience as a leader of a multiple unit Behavioral Health Department.  You will be a key asset in the growth of our Behavioral Health Services.  Provide clinical guidance to our staff in all areas of Behavioral Health.   The Largo Medical Center  Behavioral Health Department consists of  an intake and call center; newly remodeled 14 bed Voluntary unit, 34 bed involuntary unit , a 6 bed emergency unit and 6 bed medical hold unit, based at our Indian Rocks location.  This is a Hands On director position willing and able to pitch in whereever needed. 
The Nursing Director of the Behavioral Health program demonstrates the skills, scientific judgment, and leadership in planning care blended with concierge level customer service experience for all patients admitted into the Largo Medical Center Behavioral Health programs.  The director is responsible and accountable for planning, directing and implementing care to the Behavioral Health guests in accordance with physician's orders, policies, procedures, established standards of customer service and administrative policies.   The director will demonstrate clinical knowledge in all areas within the Behavioral Health programming areas (with a base Cognitive Behavioral Therapy foundation).  The director will supervise assigned Behavioral Health  staff, and directs clinical and medical flow of all patient care.  The director will serve as a resource person and role model for all personnel. He/she will identify problems or potential problems and communicate them to the Program Director.  The director is intricately involved in the selection of personnel, their education, discipline and level of expertise. The director will be responsible for overseeing clinical care to Behavioral Health patients and to act as the liaison to all clinical disciplines invited to participate in patient care. The director is responsible for all clinical operations, quality reporting, statistical reporting and regulatory requirements. The director will promote continuity of hospital operations through the interpretation and enforcement of hospital and Behavioral Health policies and procedures.

Masters degree preferred 
5 years Psychiatric Nurse experience in an acute care facility preferred.
3 years Nursing leadership experience preferred
