A healthcare sales job involves procedure-driven sales of healthcare products including equipments and disposable devices. Increasing the company revenue and maintaining profit margins is part of responsibilities of a healthcare sales person.
A healthcare sales person should have a bachelor's degree, preferably in health science or marketing/business major. Excellent experience in the medical device field and strategic sales experience will be considered ideal for a healthcare sales job. A background in commissioned or tangible product sales is an advantage for some positions. A healthcare sales person should have MS Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint proficiency.
