Stage 1 :
The most common characteristics of stage one rosacea are the tendency to flush or blush easily, red, dry eyes and the skin becoming more reactive to most physical and chemical stimuli.
Stage 2 :
As sings and symptoms worsen, symptoms may spread to other parts of the body. Small blood vessels on your nose and cheeks swell and become visible. These lesions can be present intermittently or may persist for weeks at a time.
Stage 3 :
In extreme cases of stage three rosacea, small, red bumps or pustules may appear and spread across the forehead, cheeks and chin with severe inflammation, swelling, facial pain, and debilitating burning sensations. Facial features may become thicker, coarser and irregular. Patients may also develop a bulbous enlargement of the nose.
