Squamous cells are small, flat skin cells found in the tissue that forms the surface of the skin. Most cases of Squamous


cancers are caused by not protecting and overexposing the skin to the sun's ultraviolet rays. This is why tumors appear most
frequently on exposed areas of the body, such as the face, neck, shoulder and arms.

Sings and Symptoms:
  • Suspicious moles or skin lesions.
  • If a sore that oozes, bleeds, or crusts has not healed in three weeks.
  • Reddened, scaly, plaque like or a wart-like surface that commonly appear on sun exposed area.
