The body uses fat as a source of energy. It breaks down the contents of the fat cell and releases fatty acids and glycerol into the blood.

LOSING FAT

Weight is determined by the rate at which you store fat from the food that you eat and by the rate at which you use that energy. As the body stores more fat, the number of fat cells remain the same; each cell expands as more fat is added.
