The amount of work experience you are required to have to enter into this field is less than one year, and with that, you are able to make an average hourly rate between $19.27 and $27.22, which is between $40,081 and $56,617 annually (working 40 hour work weeks). Then those that work as a radiation therapist tech that have 20 years of experience reported making an hourly salary between $31.39 and $41.31, which is $65,291 and $85,924 annually.

Certification

To work as a radiation therapist technician, you will have to obtain a certification though the AART, or American Association of Radiologic Technicians. Those that acquire this have the highest annual salaries between $55,120 and $77,396, which is about $26.50 and $37.21 hourly.
