In order to work in these medical positions, you will have to obtain a bachelor's degree from a four-year medical school. Then you will have to complete between three and eight years being and intern and resident.



Dentists

The third most paid job in the medical field is dentistry. On average, a dentist can make about $133,000 annually. Those that own more than one practice can make substantially more. In this position, dentists are required to diagnose and treat oral problems, involving he teeth and gums. To work in this medical job, you will have to obtain a bachelor's degree and attend a dental school before obtaining a license.

Optometrists

This medical job is known for paying its workers approximately $100,000 annually, making this position the tenth most paid job. The goal of optometrists is to correct the visions of patients who are suffering from illnesses and other deficiencies. To work in this field, you will have to obtain a bachelor's degree from a optometry school and a license.
