Clinical Coordinator Jobs description
A clinical coordinator collaborates with physicians and care providers to coordinate day-to-day patient care. The job involves working with patients, physicians and support staff to meet patient goals successfully.The primary responsibility of a clinical coordinator is to maintain a high degree of excellence in clinical outcomes while providing effective patient care throughout. Other important duties include collaborating with case managers and physicians to facilitate patient admission, coordinating the delivery of quality patient care, managing clinical operations and assisting in the hiring and training of clinical staff. A clinical coordinator is also responsible for all documentation and reporting, developing and implementing plans for meeting regulatory requirements and clinical and budgetary management functions.
To apply for a clinical coordinator job, a candidate must possess a bachelor's degree in nursing or health science from an accredited institution. A state RN licensure is mandatory. Previous clinical experience is important. A successful candidate should also possess strong communication, interpersonal and organizational skills.
