Clinical Manager Jobs. description
A Clinical Manager should handle all administrative functions of a clinic. The responsibilities mainly include supervising all clinic staff, billing and collecting process, monitoring delivery of services to patients, and conduct liaison between patients, hospitals, and business. A Clinical Manager should also possess strong communication skills and must be able to manage various projects that may require identifying problems, reviewing information, recommending solutions, and writing reports. The professional should have the knowledge of budget process, including mathematical and accounting skills.A Clinical Manager should also be familiar with Medicaid, Medicare, and insurance billing procedures. Usually the individual performs work under the supervision of the Department Administrator or head of the clinic operations. A Bachelor’s degree in Health and Administration, including five years of job experience and one year of supervisory experience is essential for this job. Prospective Clinical Managers usually complete courses in health care administration, accounting, health care management and strategic planning. Knowledge of computers and data processing equipment is an added advantage.
