The healthcare specialist provides emergency medical treatment, primary care, force health protection, and evacuation in a variety of situations from point of injury or illness through the continuum of military health care. The healthcare specialist, who administers emergency medical treatment to battlefield casualties, assists with outpatient care, or assists with inpatient care and treatment under the supervision of a physician, is the skill level one specialist or the senior health specialist. The healthcare specialist administers emergency and routine medical treatment to battle and non-battle casualties, assists with outpatient care and treatment and supervises field and clinical medical facilities belongs to the skills set 2 specialist. The healthcare specialist, who supervises activities of field, clinical and mobile treatment facilities belongs to the skills set 3 specialist.The job candidate should be a graduate in healthcare and medical science. Along with it, he should possess:
(1) A physical demands rating, of moderately heavy.
(2) A physical profile, of 222121.
(3) A minimum score, of 95 in aptitude area ST.
