The Medicaid Capture Management team's purpose is to successfully position Humana to capture growth opportunities enabling the future of Humana's Medicaid business. As a centrally positioned strategic function this team coordinates with growth partners across the enterprise and industry to accelerate product strategy and define the operating model for new markets. We deliver value through detailed research, data-driven insights, strategic planning, structured problem solving, and project management rigor.

Responsibilities

The Senior Medicaid Capture Management Professional - Health provides business intelligence and advises leadership to develop functional strategies that enable Medicaid growth opportunities. This highly talented individual will consult to inform strategy and coordinate cross-functional groups of growth partners to optimize Humana's portfolio of Medicaid population health and clinical products to address local health priorities and capture new business. The Senior Professional will exercise independent judgement and decision making on complex issues regarding job duties and be able to work under minimal supervision to produce high quality deliverables.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree with a strong record of academic achievement

2 years' applicable experience in government healthcare programs

2 years experience coordinating medium to large scale projects and cross-functional teams

Expertise in population health and familiarity with managed care clinical operations and quality

Strategic and creative thinker with ability to translate strategies, market knowledge, data and customer insights into actions/requirements/implementation

Adept at quantitative and qualitative research to make informed recommendations

Excellent verbal and written communication skills to convey complex concepts with clarity

Ability to work in a dynamic business environment balancing competing deadlines

Advanced user of productivity and collaboration software

Flexible scheduling (i.e. - occasional nights and weekends)

Preferred Qualifications

Master's Degree (Public Health, MBA)

Experience in responding to state and/or federal government solicitations

Experience in community engagement and organizing

Project Management and Process Improvement qualifications

Additional Information

Role will include travel (10-25% of time)
