The University of Cincinnati Blue Ash College Allied Health Department invites applications for our Adjunct Instructor – Expanded Functions Dental Auxiliary (EFDA) general pool of candidates from which part-time faculty will be selected for the upcoming terms (as needed).

 

UC Blue Ash College is the largest regional college in Ohio and one of the largest colleges at the University of Cincinnati.  We are an open access college and offer primarily associate degrees with an enrollment of approximately 5000 students. All applicants for this position must have strong communication skills, and be effective laboratory facilitators who enjoy teaching in a culturally diverse, student-centered environment.

 

Expanded Functions Dental Auxiliary

*Adjunct Faculty responsibilities include lab instruction of students placing amalgam and composite restorative materials. *The classes will meet weekly on Fridays during fall and spring semesters. *There is potential that classes may be held on Thursday evenings due to limited space on campus and will be scheduled ahead of time if needed. *Adjunct faculty are hired and teaching is assigned on an as-needed, semester-by-semester basis.    

Minimum Qualifications

*Expanded Functions Dental Auxiliary with a current license in the State of Ohio and an associate degree in a health-related field or a dentist with a current license in the State of Ohio. *Candidates with the EFDA license must also have a minimum of two years of clinical practice as an EFDA.
