This in a hospital-based position that works cooperatively with the medical, surgical, emergency and social work services to address the complex medical and behavioral health needs of patients receiving care at **MEMBERS ONLY**SIGN UP NOW***..  This includes providing care for people experiencing delirium, and mood, psychotic, anxiety, substance use, and somatic symptom disorders, among others.  The Consultation-Liaison psychiatry service also works closely with patients in the hospital under Involuntary Treatment Act with Single Bed Certification.  The Consultation-Liaison psychiatrists have an important role in the education of clinical teams about behavioral health care, including multiple residency programs.  The collaborative nature of this position, and partnership with physician and advanced practitioners, medical and surgical trainees, nurses, social work and other health professionals in a team-based environment is particularly rewarding.

BE/BC Psychiatrist, Fellowship training and BC/BE in Consultation-Liaison Psychiatry is preferred



Ability to obtain a medical professional license in the State of WA



Ability to obtain a DEA with full prescriptive authority needed for specific practice
