Benefits Information:
This position qualifies for prorated benefits through the District's benefits program. A Stipend is given on employee's paycheck is equivalent to the prorated amount. Additional compensation and childcare assistance available to eligible employees.
For positions that qualify, the District offers a benefit package that is valued at more than $10,000 annually. Benefits include Medical, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance and Public Employees’ Retirement System (PERSI) and are provided to Classified employees who work at least half time (20 hours per week) or more in a regular position and to Certified employees with a .50 FTE or greater contract.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:
Graduation from high school or equivalent preferred.
Course work in child development preferred.
Knowledge of developmental needs of school-age children.
Experience working with school-age children preferred.
Ability to implement age-appropriate curriculum and completing other duties as assigned.
Ability to follow oral and written directions.
Ability to successfully communicate in written and verbal form with a variety of individuals.
Ability to develop cooperative working relations with co-workers.
Must obtain CPR and First Aid Certification within 30 days of employment
Licensing requirements before beginning employment
Background check and fingerprinting required as per city license.

Job Description
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Full-time position of 25 hours per week during the school year and additional hours possible for the summer program. For the summer program, ideal availability is Monday-Friday for shifts within 7:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m. For the 2022-23 school year, must be available before and after school hours of 7:00 a.m. - 9:15 a.m. and 3:00 p.m. - 6:00 p.m. Monday-Friday to qualify
