System Float Pool ER Tech will provide support to the Puget Sound area hospitals. This person will fill a vital role taking assignments at Covington Medical Center, Auburn Medical Center, Good Samaritan Hospital, Tacoma General and Allenmore providing coverage for leave of absences, sick calls or surges in census. The ER Technician assists with providing patient care in the Emergency Department under the direct supervision of the Clinical Supervisor or designee. This is an entry level health care professional position that will directly assist nursing and medical staff with daily operations and various related tasks throughout the department, as requested. Work situations are varied and require problem solving and critical thinking skills to respond appropriately in emergency situations. Minimum Requirements:

Previous experience as a CNA, NA-R, corpsman, EMT, or phlebotomist in an emergency department, pre-hospital, or acute care setting with the last three years Education/Licenses/Certifications:

Current Washington state Certification/licensure as a NAC or NAR

Current Medical Assistant-Phlebotomist Certification or Medical Assistant-Phlebotomist eligible (Must complete education within 60 days and apply within 7 days of education completion)

Current CPR Certification
