Ambulatory Svcs OPS & PI Manager (EVERGREEN) ','230001JY','!*!The Operations and Process Improvement Manager for Ambulatory Services will facilitate, plan, implement, manage and evaluate ambulatory performance improvement activities and operational outcomes in accordance with national benchmarking standards, lean methodology and administrative policies. In collaboration with Ambulatory Services Leadership team and under the direction of the Director of Ambulatory Transformation, the Operations and PI Manager will develop local and division-wide performance optimization strategies, design, plan and implement training programs, competency assessments, policies and procedures and process improvement plans. Will use data to analyze outcomes, research new training and PI techniques and lead enhancements to existing training programs for both front line staff and ambulatory leaders. Will also collaborate with and serve as a liaison between Ambulatory Services and other hospital departments to provide training and performance improvement strategies to the ambulatory services group.

Project management, change management, corporate restructure and redesign, process improvement and operational management. Strong knowledge of Windows, Microsoft Office Products. Healthcare training experience preferred. Proven experience with adult learning principles, curriculum/course design techniques as well as the ability to identify and fulfill adult student needs. Excellent teaching and motivational skills. Outstanding oral and written communication skills. Ability to translate technical concepts into understandable terminology for non-technical personnel. Strong interpersonal skills. Proven organizational and problem resolution skills.Functional AccountabilitiesProject & Program Management

Manage a complex portfolio of division growth in the area of program redesign and projects.

Successfully perform all phases of projects, including strategic planning, execution and evaluation.

Ensure goals/objectives are accomplished within a prescribed time frame.

Manage appropriate staff for each project.

Manage communication to and relationships with key project stakeholders and institution-wide.

Develop and implement stakeholder satisfaction tools for each project to ensure stakeholder buy-in and satisfaction.

Performance Improvement

Evaluate current programs, departments, and/or processes for effectiveness, feasibility and cost.

Provide recommendations, include redesign and/or restructure of programs, departments, and/or processes.

Execute recommendations whenever appropriate or facilitate management/team with implementing recommendations.

Review monthly statistics; analyze variances and communicates with leadership teams to address gaps and correction plans.

Work with leadership team to develop performance metrics and evaluation tools for measuring each aspect of clinical operations and quarterly performance indicator reports.

Provide analysis of performance metrics reports and updates ambulatory dashboard.

Communication

Compose, edit, and deliver written and verbal communications; facilitate group discussions; keep team members appropriately informed.

Through all implementations, ensure compliance with organizational and departmental policies and procedures, and regulatory standards.

Develop communication and education materials specialized to a variety of audiences to ensure change occurs.

Communicate operational issues and progress towards goals to other members of the management team.

Operations Management

Troubleshoot operational issues and develop action plans to resolve.

Continually explore new methods to improve operations, work with management team to gain acceptance and support implementation efforts.

Manage operational areas (training, analytics, performance improvement) as assigned.

Human Resources

Provide direction, outcomes, and performance goals to staff, facilitators and consultants.

Work to enhance positive working relationships among Ambulatory Services departments staff & managers.

Provide opportunities for growth and development to staff.
