Description

The Mail Operations Pharmacy Technician 2 Dr. Call Phones Team: Typically works on semi-routine assignments. This is an incoming call center setting. Technicians are responsible for taking incoming phones calls from providers for New Rx's, clarifications or transfers as outlined by standard policies. Full Time with Work at Home option.

Responsibilities

The Mail Operations Pharmacy Technician 2 Dr. Phone Call Team is responsible for taking incoming calls from providers offices. Decisions are typically focus on interpretation of area/department policy and methods for completing assignments. Works within defined parameters to identify work expectations and quality standards, but has some latitude over prioritization/timing, and works under minimal direction. Follows standard policies/practices that allow for some opportunity for interpretation/deviation and/or independent discretion.

Required Qualifications

High School Diploma or equivalent

Must have an active license with the Board of Pharmacy in the appropriate state.

At least 1 year experience preferred

Preferred Qualifications

National Certification, PTCB CphT
