Description:

King University is accepting applications for part-time/adjunct faculty to teach coursework in the Bachelor of Science in Exercise Science program. Courses include nutrition, care and prevention of athletic injuries, strength and conditioning, exercise training and performance, and exercise physiology. The ideal candidate will have experience with a broad range of exercise science/kinesiology-related topics. Teaching opportunities may be available in both online and on campus settings.

Minimum Qualifications:

Applicants must hold an earned master’s in Kinesiology, Exercise Science, Exercise Physiology, or closely-related discipline. Demonstrated success of undergraduate teaching experience, a commitment to mentoring students are essential. Applicants must demonstrate strong interpersonal skills, effective oral and written communication.

Preferred Qualifications:

Earned doctorate in Kinesiology, Exercise Science, Exercise Physiology, or closely-related discipline, NSCA and/or ACSM certification, and two years of teaching at the collegiate level are preferred. Experience teaching in an online environment ideal.
