Aerobics Instructors

Profile

: Instructors needed to teach and instruct classes in aerobic activities, including Yoga, Spinning, SilverSneakers /seniors, Boot Camp, and other specialty classes at the Bowling Green Parks & Recreation Center. Will fill in as a substitute as needed, when the primary instructor is unavailable. SPIN Instructors: Must be able to lead a safe and effective Spinning class to members and be able to sub for other instructors. Must prepare music and class format/profiles and arrive early for class. Must be able to provide instruction, encouragement and be able to motivate class participants. Ability to lead others and follow safe spinning guidelines; including warm up, ride, cool down and stretching. Ability to be able to start and end class on time and ensure class room has been properly cleaned up and prepared for the next class.
Job Requirements
Requires general knowledge in Fitness/Aerobics, CPR, and First Aid certification required; National Certification desired.
Starting Salary
$17.29 per hour
Work Hours
Classes will be taught primarily in the evenings with some morning, and/or weekend classes. Hours and days may vary.
