Environmental Healthcare Jobs description
An environmental healthcare job involves protecting and promoting health and wellbeing through consumer protection, environmental protection, health and safety plans etc. It is the responsibility of an environmental healthcare specialist to plan, execute, manage and evaluate health and safety programs in compliance with all laws, regulations and procedures.The chief duty of an environmental healthcare specialist is to ensure a safe and healthy working environment and encourage environmental consciousness. Implementation of safety, health and environment policies, preparation of annual plans, ensuring regulatory compliance, providing proper training to staff and coordinating safety and health tasks like inspections, fire drills, evacuations etc are also important aspects of an environmental healthcare job.
The minimum educational qualification required for an environmental healthcare job is a bachelor's degree. Previous environmental healthcare management experience is a plus. Other prerequisites of the job are effective communication, analytical, computer and interpersonal skills.
