AOM Healthcare Solutions of Deerfield Beach, Florida, a licensed pharmacy and diabetes products supplier, filed notice with Florida's Agency for Workforce Innovation that it planned to lay off 353 employees.

Owens & Minor Inc., a Fortune 500 company based in Virginia, is AOM’s parent company.

Owens & Minor Inc. is selling the diabetes supply business to Liberty Healthcare Group of Port St. Lucie for $63 million in cash. The transaction is expected to close in early January.

An Owens & Minor spokeswoman said on-site job fairs and outplacement services were being offered to assist displaced workers.
