Carestream is cutting 500 to 700 jobs. Carestream Health is a medical imaging company owned by the Canadian firm Onex. It will be cutting 500 to 700 jobs, and half of the cuts are expected to be from its 1,400-person Rochester location.
Two hundred and fifty to 350 jobs set to be cut over the next three years will come from the administration, information technology, and finance departments. The company said cuts won’t be made on a “last in, first out” basis. Layoffs will be determined by the groups targeted for reduction.
