A healthcare finance person assists in financial matters and provides financial analysis for healthcare businesses. Responsibilities include checking financial viability for new and expanded services and equipments, preparing documents for financing requests and annual budget, assisting and suggesting managers on budgets or analysis projects, and developing trend analysis. A healthcare finance job also requires analytical, clerical, administrative, and project support skills.A healthcare finance person should have an accounting degree. Work experience in accounts or finance preferably in healthcare environments is considered a plus for such positions.
