Observing Patients
One of the roles of a dialysis tech is to watch the patients to make sure that they aren’t having any complications while receiving dialysis treatment.
Testing
As a reuse and biomedical dialysis tech, you will have to take blood from the patients for testing to make sure that there is no more waste found in the blood.
Settings
In most cases, dialysis techs work within hospitals, but there are some that make visits to the patient’s home – usually when the patient is unable to leave their house.
Nurses
A lot of the professionals that work in dialysis are nurses.
Records
Another role of the technicians is to keep updated files and records of the patients.
