FT Program Director

Profile

We are seeking a full-time Program Director to direct day to day operations of two 24/7 shelters (with hotline), including community advocates serving domestic violence survivors and their children in Kent and Sussex counties. Services are trauma-informed, utilizing the Sanctuary Model. Program Director general responsibilities include: ensuring program and staff meet needs of survivors and their children; manage budgets; hire, train and supervise staff; meet objectives and outcomes specified by funding sources; assist with grant proposals and applications; prepare quarterly reports for funders; and participate in committees and task forces. Requirements include: Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Counseling or Psychology; or equivalent experience and education; two years’ experience with people who have significant trauma histories; two years’ experience providing supervision and proven ability to foster team work; and database/reports skills.
