FT Housing and Employment Coordinator

Profile

Full-time position in Sussex County to assist survivors of domestic violence in obtaining housing and/or employment. This position requires safety planning, advocacy, assisting with applications for housing and/or employment, gathering needed documents, accompanying survivors to prospective housing sites, data collection and input, and following a budget. Position requires building relationships with prospective landlords and referrals to needed resources. Experience in the field of domestic violence is preferred. Must be organized, able to work independently, and able to work effectively with team to provide needed services for survivors. Must have a flexible schedule - some evenings required. Must have a good driving record. Bachelor's degree in Human Services or related field or equivalent experience preferred; Associates degree required.
